Knockout Stage
Argentina were the only team to win all their group games without
conceding a goal, then let in two against England and Holland.
2nd Round:
30th June: vs. England (2:2 aet) in St. Etienne.
Argentina were taken into extra-time by a ten man England side.
Argentina played seventy-five minutes with the advantage but had to
rely on penalties to get them through to the quarter-finals.

4th July: vs. Holland (1:2) in Marseilles.
Against Holland, Argentina's cheating finally let them down.
