OFC Nations Cup
The OFC Nations Cup, Oceania Football Confederation's flagship competition, has been
contested since 1973; with Australia and New Zealand taking it in turns to lift the
trophy.
1973: New Zealand beat Tahiti (2:0).
1980: Australia beat Tahiti (4:2).
1996: Australia beat Tahiti (11:0 agg).
1998: New Zealand beat Australia (1:0).
2000: Australia beat New Zealand (2:0).
2002: New Zealand beat Australia (1:0).
In 2004, the OFC Nations Cup doubled as qualification for both the
Confederations Cup and the Germany
2006 World Cup.
2004: Australia beat Solomon Islands
(11:1 agg).
2008: New Zealand, New Caledonia, Fiji, Vanuatu.
Fiji 2012:

The four semi-finalists advanced to the final round of qualifying for Brazil 2014.
