World Cup Appearances:
Korea-Japan 2002 was Brazil's seventeenth appearance in the World Cup Finals. Brazil are the only country to be an ever-present at the World Cup finals.

Best World Cup Performance:
Winning the trophy four times: Sweden 1958, Chile 1962, Mexico 1970 and USA 1994.

Brazil also went on to win the Korea-Japan 2002 World Cup.

Brazil were lucky not to go a goal down when Marc Wilmots scored what looked like a legimate header for Belgium, in the 35th minute.

England vs Brazil (Quarter-final)

Even though he was sent off in the 57th minute, Ronaldinho created Brazil's first goal and scored an excellent winner.

Brazil vs Turkey (Semi-final)

With Ronaldinho suspended, Ronaldo scored the only goal of the game, to ensure Brazil a place in the 2002 World Cup Final.

Germany vs Brazil - 2002 World Cup Final

Brazil won the World Cup for a record 5th time but will have to qualify for the next World Cup finals in Germany 2006.
