Getting to the Stadium

Suwon Stadium is about four kilometres from Suwon Station.

The journey to the stadium can made by bus (2, 13-2, 720).

Suwon Tourism

Located in the mid-southern area of Gyeonggi Province, Suwon is said to be Korea's first planned city.

During the Joseon Dynasty in the 18th century, King Jeongjo decided to move the royal court from Seoul to Suwon to be closer to the tomb of his father, Prince Janghyeon.

Hwaseong Fortress

Built to relocate King Jeongjo's entourage, the Hwaseong Fortress has been singled out by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee as one of the most outstanding examples of military architecture built in the 18th century.

By Air

If you're flying into Seoul, there's a regular airport limousine bus, direct to Suwon.

By Road

Buses leave Seoul (Jamsil) every ten minutes or so.

By Rail

Most trains leaving Seoul, in the direction of the Youngnam and Honam Railway Lines, stop at Suwon. The journey takes about half an hour.
