Getting to the Stadium:

The Zentralstadion in Leipzig is indeed central and it's easy enough to walk to the Sportforum, if the trams are crowded.

Arriving by Car:

A9 (Berlin-Nürnberg)
Turn off the motorway at the Leipzig Günthersdorf exit and follow signs to the Innenstadt or Zentrum. Once you reach Leipzig city centre, drive along Merseburger Strasse to Lützner Strasse. Turn left and follow the main road to Jahnallee. It might feel like you're heading for the centre again but you should soon see the Sportforum and stadium on your left.

A14 (Dresden-Magdeburg)
Leave the motorway at the Leipzig Mitte exit and follow the B2 towards Leipzig centre (Innenstadt or Zentrum). Turn right into Berliner Strasse and then left when you get to Gerberstrasse. Turn right at the next crossroads, in the direction of Merseburg, and continue on to Jahnallee. The Sportforum and stadium will soon be on your right.

Public Transportation in Leipzig:
From Leipzig Hauptbahnhof to the Sportforum take trams 3, 7 or 15. The journey is 5 stops and takes about 10 minutes.
