Getting to the Stadium
It's a two minute walk from Kashima Soccer Stadium Station - on the
Kashima Rinkai Tetsudo Oharai Kashima line - or 10 minutes by taxi from JR Kashima Jingu
Station.
Buses also run from Kashima Bus Terminal and JR Kashima Jingu Station.
Ibaraki prefecture is about 1-2 hours away from Tokyo and the
natural surroundings make a great escape from the capital.
Historical Background
During the Medieval Period, powerful samurai generals had their
residence in the area and much of lbaraki's rich history can be appreciated in Mito City.
