Colombia's Best World Cup Performance

Colombia first played in the World Cup finals at Chile 1962 and then seemed to forget about any claims to the trophy until Italy 1990; where they reached the Second Round.

At Brazil 2014, Colombia went on to play the hosts in the quarter-finals.

Colombia's Campeonato Postobon is contested by 18 teams.

Atlético Nacional (Medellin) and Millonarios (Bogota) have been Colombia's most successful clubs, followed by Deportivo Cali and America de Cali.
