Founded in 1880 as St. Mark's (West Gorton), the club became
Ardwick Association Football Club in 1887 and Manchester City in 1894.
Manchester City has played at the City of Manchester Stadium
(originall built for the 2002 Commowealth Games) since 2003, having played at Maine Road
from 1923.
