Nickname: The Toffees.
Formed in 1878, as St Domingo's, Everton were
founding members of The Football League in 1888 and won their first
league championship two seasons later.
Everton won the FA Cup for the first time in 1906
and the League title again in 1915.

from Goodison Park but you can get a train from Liverpool Lime Street to
Liverpool Central and then change there for Kirkdale, which is closer to
the ground.
