AFC Bournemouth was founded in 1890, as Boscombe St. John's
Institute FC but dissolved in 1899 and reformed in 1899 as Boscombe FC.
In the 2014-15 season, Bournemouth won the Football League
Championship title; earning promotion to the Premier League, for the first time in their
history.

is situated on the left. Football traffic is signposted to Kings Park.
