Arsenal Football Club
Established: 1886.
Nickname: The Gunners (Gooners).
Formed as Dial Square in 1886, by workers at the Royal Arsenal in
Woolwich, the club soon became known as Royal Arsenal and later renamed to Woolwich
Arsenal, in 1893.
After Arsenal moved to Highbury, in North London, they dropped
'Woolwich' from their name.

Arsenal's Emirates Stadium is located at Ashburton Grove; about 500
metres south-west of the old Highbury.
Parking near the ground is difficult so it's best to use public
transport.
London Underground:
Arsenal station is on the Piccadilly Line. Finsbury Park and Highbury & Islington
stations are on the Victoria Line.
