About St. Martin
Ile Saint-Martin lies between the islands of Anguilla and
St Barthelemy.
The northern part of the island is a dependency of Guadeloupe, itself an Overseas
Department of France.

The smaller, southern section is called Sint Maarten; formerly a
part of the Dutch Antilles.
