Branson, Missouri

Primarily a leisure destination, accommodation selection truly depends on the type of vacation the traveler wants to experience in Branson.

Since the turn of the 20th century, Branson, Missouri, has attracted visitors with its abundance of outdoor recreational activities and surprising array of live entertainment options.

In the dog days of August and the wilting heat of July, expect long lines to get into shows and attractions. During the winter the weather is a bit chilly for all except cold weather critters, so if you can possibly arrange a spring or fall visit you’ll get the best of the weather and a real reduction in waiting times.

Kansas City, Missouri

When most people speak of Kansas City they’re referring to the part of the city on the Missouri side, where the airport, sports teams, and most businesses are based.

Combining the shopping, attractions, dining and diversity of a major metropolitan area with the friendliness and cost of a medium-sized Midwestern town, Kansas City offers leisure and business travellers a host of options.

Baseball fans should schedule trips to KC for April through September so they can catch the Royals at Kauffman Stadium. Football fans come in from September through December to see the Chiefs. During the spring, summer, and fall, golfers go to KC's more than 40 golf courses, and year-round the casinos keep gamblers happy.

Saint Louis, Missouri

St. Louis is home to one of the most recognizable skylines in the world with its 630-foot tall Gateway Arch, the nation's tallest manmade monument, now illuminated by 44 floodlights.

Lively St. Louis is a merry melange of world-class cultural attractions, one-of-a-kind restaurants and a melodic mix of music: blues, jazz, cabaret, symphony, opera.

Every season in St. Louis has something special on offer -- in spring the St. Patrick’s Day Parade is eagerly attended. In the summer, Six Flags St Louis attracts tourists and area residents with thrill rides and an extensive water park.

Fall brings Halloween events at the Bissell House Museum and the Mountain Man Rendezvous. Around Christmas the Anheuser Busch Brewery puts on a spectacular display of lights.

Branson, Missouri
