St Martin lies between the islands of Anguilla and St Barthélemy.
The northern part of the island is a dependency of Guadeloupe, itself an Overseas
Department of France.
The smaller, southern section is called Sint Maarten.
Although internally self-governed, it's a part of the Netherlands
Antilles.
The main town in the French part of the island is Marigot, and
Philipsburg is the principal Dutch town.
