to Samui, saving a 14 hour-trip by the conventional road and ferry -- We still prefer the
road and ferry. Bangkok Airways also flies Samui-Phuket, Samui-Singapore, Samui-Utapao
(Pattaya), Bangkok-Sukhothai-Chiangmai, Bangkok-Phnom Penh and Bangkok-Siem Reap (Angor Wat), with plans to extend their services to Chiang
Mai, Kunming, Luang Prabang, Mandalay,
Medan and Pagan.
