Three Goals Not Enough
North Korea vs Côte d'Ivoire
in Nelspruit.
Ivory Coast really needed to score goals and hope that Brazil
could do the same against Portugal.
Yaya Toure opened the scoring for the Ivory Coast in the 14th minute.
Six minutes later, Romaric headed the ball in after Didier Drogba's
shot came off the crossbar.
Ivory Coast's third, and final, goal came through Salomon Kalou, eight
minutes from time; so Ghana are the only African side in the Second Round.
