Getting to Kalgoorlie
The train across the Nullabor is a real party, so much so that by
the time you get to Kalgoorlie there will probably be no more beer on board.
The
Indian Pacific:
The train from Sydney to Perth doesn't run every day. If the train is on time, it arrives
in Kalgoorlie just after 7pm (Mondays and Fridays).
If you're going on to Perth, the train stops in Kalgoorlie
for three and a half hours, which will give you time to enjoy a little pub crawl in the
Gold Town!
The heat outside, even at night, is intense; especially
after spending a couple of days in air-conditioned seats.

The train from Perth to Kalgoorlie takes around seven hours.
