Getting to Tasmania:
Bass Strait is the sea-road to Tasmania. The route is operated by three superfast ships, Spirit of Tasmania I, II and III.

These vessels offer an overnight service in both directions between Melbourne and Devonport seven days a week, year round, with additional services in peak periods.

There's also a service from Sydney to Devonport, in both directions, up to three times a week.

Hobart

The capital city of Tasmania is situated on the shores of the Derwent River. Its urban centre is located alongside a deepwater port dotted with historic buildings.
